Coconut Flour Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rootalive coconut flour
  • 4 Tbs. Rootalive psyllium husk
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 2 Tbs. avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • avocado oil for frying


Instructions

1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine coconut flour and psyllium husk until well combined.

  1. Add in the warm water, oil and baking soda.
  2. Knead the dough for one minute until well combined.
  3. Divide the dough into 8 round balls.
  4. Place one ball on a piece of parchment paper and add a second piece of parchment paper on top. Roll the dough out into a circle.
  5. If you want a perfect circle, you can use a pot lid and cut around it.
  6. Heat up a pan with a couple tablespoons of oil.
  7. Carefully place one of the wraps in the pan and cook on medium heat for 3 minutes. Flip and cook on the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Continue with this method for the rest of the wraps. Add additional oil to the pan which each new wrap to avoid sticking.

Notes

Store the wraps in the fridge for up to a week.

The wraps can also be kept in the freezer but they must be thawed fully in the fridge before use.
