Ingredients Wet Ingredients 1/4 cup butter melted 1/4 cup applesauce 1 large egg 1 tbsp milk 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp peppermint extract (optional) Dry Ingredients 1/4 cup flour 1/4 cup cocoa powder 2/3 cup sugar 2 tbsp psyllium husk powder 1/8tsp bakingpowder 1/4-1/2 cup chocolate chips Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and prepare a 9"x9" pan Melt butter in a large measuring cup Add the rest of the wet ingredients and combine In aseperatebowl, combine all of the dry ingredients except the chocolate chips Combine the wet and dry ingredients thenadd the chocolatechips, being careful not to overmix Add the mixture to the prepared pan, using a spatula to smooth it out evenly Bake for 20-25 minutes, using a toothpick to test for doneness [optional]: Once cool, drizzle with chocolate! Notes: Try not to let the batter sit for too long after you have combined the wet and dry ingredients. Psyllium husk gelatinizes pretty quickly!
